POMPEY RIVER STOP
Located near the town and the canals of the Moselle, Pompey river stop offer four to six mooring points for pleasure boats.
A new development includes an extended pontoon and access to water and electricity for a more comfortable stay for pleasure-boaters. However, the water distribution service is unavailable during the winter months.
Access to the river stop has been entirely redeveloped with a wooden walkway and steps, making it easier to reach the town from the hillock. There’s also a relaxation area for visitors to enjoy the waterside.
Just 150 m away, the town has all the commodities pleasure-boaters could need, including shops, restaurants, a bank, a medical centre and more. The stop is within direct access of the market square (Thursday mornings) and the swimming pool.
The town has numerous leisure facilities (Avant-garde leisure area), ideal for hiking, cycle trails for a waterside rise and a tourist circuit retracing the grand industrial past of the factory that produced the iron for the Eiffel Tower.
