This site includes a stream, two ponds, wetlands, meadows and a few areas of chalk grassland, all nestled in a wooded valley next to the great Haye forest. This mosaic-like setting is home to abundant and diverse nature with close connections to the water. Being located 15 minutes from Nancy makes it the perfect place for exploring nature. Currently, the main access to the Vallon de Bellefontaine is via the Champigneulles swimming pool and a trail along the lake. An educational trail, approximately 2.2 km long and accessible to disabled visitors, will be built around the Bel’Etang lake.
